How It Works

The process:

Beer

Your Beer wort arrives in a 50L pail from the brewer, YOU add (pitch) the yeast. Then, the beer ferments for roughly 7 - 10 days. Once the fermentation period is complete, the 50L pail is moved to the cooler to await the filtration process. Your beer is then water filtered into kegs, and ready to be picked up in a keg, or bottled by you!

Cider

Your cider is made from a kit, in 50L pails here in-store. Then YOU add (pitch) the yeast. Then, your cider ferments for roughly 7-10 days. Once the fermentation process is complete, the 50L pail is moved to the cooler to await the filtration process. Your cider is then water filtered into kegs, and it is ready to be picked up in a keg, or bottled by you!

Wine

Your wine is made from a kit, in 23L pails here in-store. Then YOU add (pitch) the yeast. Then your wine ferments for 21 days, then moves to the raking process. Raking consists of transferring the fermented wine from the 23L pail into a glass carboy. At this stage, there is a stabilizer added, and the wine sites for another 10 days. Once the raking process is complete, your wine is ready for the water filtration process. It is then transferring into another glass carboy, and put on the finishing table, and it waits to be bottled by you!
