About Us
Our company has been serving Woodstock since 1985, but we would like to reintroduce ourselves to our loyal regulars, and to our valued newcomers as Mister Brew Bayou has been under new management since early 2022. We ferment and brew on-premise, and we offer a great range of brews, wines, and ciders for you to enjoy at home. Bring a keg, or bottle in the traditional plastic bottles or use regular glass beer bottles! We also offer Event Catering Services. We are excited to bring you a priceless brewing experience.
Light
“Light beer is a brewer's beer.” Mastering the delicate flavors and aromas of this thirst-quencher requires a remarkable level of brewing skill and precision. The water must be uttermost pristine and the malt of the highest quality to produce each ounce of this straw-colored liquid. The elements are beautifully balanced and there are no faults.
India Pale Ale
Robust, malty, alcoholic, and a hop profile that might catch you off guard. This beer is deep-coppery in color, with an off-white head. Generous late Cascade/Citra/Chinook-hop additions add citrus, pine, and tropical fruit character which complements the sturdy malt backbone. Very aromatic and fragrant – irresistible to your taste buds!
Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest beer is a Märzen style, coppery in color and full-bodied with a malt-accented finish and a mild hop profile. It exits with a final dryness. Enjoy this masterpiece of Bavarian brewing tradition all year round.
Honey Brown
One of our favorite brews, this fine drink is vibrant, fresh, and delicious. Similar to Domestic Lager, but with hints of Honey and Caramel.
Domestic Lager
Canada is famous around the world for its spectacular nature, hockey, high-quality - golden prairie barley malt, and a long tradition of brewing champion lager beers. The Domestic Lager is an easy drinking, crisp premium lager with a true Canadian taste that delivers the perfect balance of sweetness with a slightly hoppy bitterness and medium body for a smooth, refreshing finish. You can drink many and not feel like you just pigged out at a buffet. Cheers!
Belgian Dark
Belgian Darks offer a massive range of characters. The colors play within the amber to light brown and even deep garnet range of hues, topped with thick, rocky heads of great retention. Aromas can offer anything from traces of yeast, spices, malt, floral attributes, and on occasion, slightly intoxicating notes. Flavors run the gamut from dry and spiced, to sweet and malty. Most examples of Belgian Dark Ale have a low level of bitterness.
